The PPS Oyster Project camp is a two-week program that takes place at the Paradise Creek Nature Park in Portsmouth.
During the camp, students will have the opportunity to explore the Chesapeake Bay watershed and learn about the significance of oysters. They will also participate in oyster reef restoration activities to help restore the oyster population in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.
Additionally, the students will work towards combating sea-level rise by creating oyster reefs and will educate the public about the importance of oysters by creating public service announcements and YouTube videos.
